Corneal topometry
Pentacam
Is a rotative Scheimpflug Camera that captures axial section images of the eye's anterior pole. Scheimpflug technique provides clear and high-resolution images from the anterior corneal surface up to the posterior pole of the crystalline capsule.
Pentacam offers an optimal analysis of:
- general screening
- refractive surgery and corneal pathology
- glaucoma screening
- cataract surgery
Pentacam - sound eye
Pentacam - pathologic eye
Pentacam provides important data on the anterior pole analysis:
- anterior and posterior corneal topography
- corneal limb by limb pachimetry
- crystalline density
(quantifies the light transmission for crystalline and IOL) - anterior pole tomography
- 3D analysis of the anterior chamber
(ACD-map, chamber angle, chamber volume)
